Online Corrosion Monitoring Unit
The AQOZA CORROSENSE A01 is an advanced device designed to monitor and store real-time information on atmospheric corrosivity, essential for the effective protection of your electronic components. Using ER technology, it measures the electrical resistance of metal tracks exposed to the atmosphere, providing you with critical insights into corrosion levels.
Salient Features
- Real-time corrosion monitoring.
- Interactive, user-friendly software
- LCD touchscreen display
- Sensitive copper and silver sensors.
- Built-in temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors.
- Power input via POE, USB, DC source
Principle of working:
The AQOZA CORROSENSE A01 operates on ER technology, directly measuring the electrical resistance of exposed and unexposed metal tracks to calculate corrosion rates. Corrosion severity levels are categorized based on the ANSI/ISA-S71.04 international standard:
Severity Level | G1- Mild | G2 - Moderate | G3- Harsh | GX- Extreme |
---|---|---|---|---|
Copper reactivity (in Angstroms)* | <300 | <1000 | <2000 | ≥2000 | Silver reactivity (in Angstroms)* | <200 | <1000 | <2000 | ≥2000 |
*Normalised to 30-day exposure, 1 Å (Angstrom) = 0.1 nanometers

Why Online monitoring?
- Detects presence of corrosive gases.
- Actively monitors corrosion levels
- Reduces hardware failure rates
- Minimizes unplanned maintenance/device failures
- Supports predictive maintenance for air filtration/handling units
What is ANSI/ISA 71.04 standard?
- Most preferred international standard for corrosion monitoring.
- Formulated by International Society of Automation (ISA)
- Specifies the type and concentration of airborne contaminants that cause corrosion.
- Provides the sources of contaminants causing corrosion.
- Classifies corrosive environments to help determine equipment reliability

Passive Corrosion Coupons
AQOZA ER P01 corrosion coupons are designed for passive corrosion measurement, offering you quick and accurate results. These coupons use ER technology to measure corrosion levels on copper and silver films, providing valuable insights into the corrosive nature of environments like control rooms, clean rooms, and data centers.
Salient features:
- Advanced ER-based corrosion coupon
- Quick and accurate results
- Copper and Silver corrosion coupon films
- Passive monitoring technique
- Unobtrusive and easy installation
Application fields:
- Control rooms
- Clean rooms
- Rack rooms
- Motor control centers
- Data centers
- Imaging clinics/ labs
Copper and Silver coupon film analysis
Corrosion coupons are placed at your site for 30 days and then analyzed in AQOZA's lab. The resistance of field-exposed coupons is measured to determine corrosion levels. The ER technology provides a detailed analysis report, helping you understand the corrosion level in your environment and determine the necessary air filtration requirements.
