Best Odour control Units Manufacturer and Supplier in India

Odour Control Units

AQOZA is a leading specialist in engineered odour control systems and products, designed to be safe, effective, and efficient in solving complex industrial odour pollution. Our odour control applications are typically used for removing odours from various facilities, including sewage treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, lifting stations, pumping stations, manholes, petrochemical industries, sludge, paper & pulp industries, food processing, and solid waste processing plants.

Our units do not merely mask foul odours; they effectively capture and neutralize odour molecules. These odour control units are also designed to remove targeted odour-causing gases, ensuring facilities and their surroundings remain odour-free. Depending on the selected odour molecules, we can offer odour removal efficiency up to 99.9%. Our odour control technologies are chosen based on specific applications and client requirements.

We offer wide range of Odour control technologies, specific to meet client needs. Commonly offered odour control technologies are :

  • Activated Adsorption-based odour control system
  • Biological Oxidation-based odour control system

Activated Carbon Adsorption SystemActivated Carbon Odour Control Units Using Adsorption System

Activated Carbon Adsorption System: Activated carbon-based odour control systems operate on the principle of adsorption, where odorous gas molecules are adsorbed onto the surface of the media, oxidized, and then released as odourless gases into the atmosphere. The selection of activated carbon media is tailored to the specific odours being treated. For wastewater odour removal, filtration media are chosen to target Hydrogen Sulphide, Ammonia, VOCs, and Mercaptans. Various types of adsorption media are available, including virgin activated carbon, chemically impregnated carbon, and catalytic activated carbon.

Water regenerable catalytic activated media are highly preferred for wastewater odour removal due to their longevity, in-place cleaning capability, and environmental friendliness. Properly designed systems can consistently achieve odour removal efficiencies of 99.9% or higher.

AQOZA offers a wide range of products based on activated carbon adsorption for odour control applications:
  • Manhole Odour control Filter
  • Passive Odour control unit
  • Activate Odour control unit
  • Custom Engineered Odour control unit

Manhole Odour control Filter

AQOZA Odvent is a specially designed unit for odour removal in manholes, vents, and septic tanks, utilizing natural ventilation. It is simple and safe to install and maintain, requiring no power supply or water connection. The standard Odovent unit operates at up to 80 m³/hr air flow.

Manhole Odour Control Filter - Specially designed unit for odour removal in manholes, vents, and septic tanks using natural ventilation; simple, safe, and low maintenance without power or water connection required.

Passive Odour control unit

AQOZA's Passive odour control unit is designed to remove odour gases from small lifting stations and manholes through natural ventilation as water levels change. This unit operates without power or water connection, making it ideal for remote locations. Standard passive units handle air flows ranging from 100 m³/hr to 600 m³/hr.

Passive Odour Control Unit - Removes odour gases in small lifting stations and manholes using natural ventilation based on water level changes. No power or water connection needed. Ideal for remote locations.

Active Odour control unit

AQOZA's active odour control units are compact, easy-to-install systems designed for small lifting stations, collection tanks, and wastewater treatment plants. They operate efficiently with minimal operator attention, achieving odour removal efficiencies of 99.9% or higher. Equipped with an odour extraction fan, these units continuously extract odorous gases, maintaining low gas concentrations within source tanks. Standard unit capacities range from 250 m³/hr to 2,000 m³/hr.

Custom Engineered Odour control unit

Our custom-engineered odour control units are fan-assisted active systems designed to meet specific client requirements. When client specifications are unclear, our technical experts assess the issues and provide the most suitable solutions. These systems often include gas monitoring sensors to ensure optimal performance, with filtration media selected based on the gases to be removed and media longevity. Water regenerable catalytic activated carbon media is frequently chosen for wastewater applications.

Biological Oxidation Odour control system

With extensive industry knowledge and field experience, AQOZA has adapted to the most eco-friendly technologies for odour control. Our biological odour control systems efficiently remove gases like hydrogen sulphide, mercaptans, and VOCs in wastewater applications.

AQOZA Bio-Scrubber

The AQOZA Bio-scrubber operates on the principles of absorption and biological oxidation of gases by microorganisms. It uses highly porous inorganic media to support microorganism growth and increase contact time with polluted air. Nutrient-rich water is continuously recirculated and sprinkled over the media to maintain moisture and optimal pH levels for microorganisms. Consistently achieving 99% odour removal efficiency, these systems are fully automated with PLC programming, requiring minimal operator intervention. This automation, combined with integrated sensors, ensures the system maintains optimal operating parameters, reducing recurring costs compared to conventional chemical scrubbers.

To achieve higher odour removal efficiencies, dual-stage odour control systems are preferred. These systems combine a Bio-scrubber with an activated carbon adsorption system, achieving odour removal efficiencies of 99.9% or higher, even if the biological system is temporarily out of order. This combination also reduces operational costs by decreasing the frequency of media replacement, as most odour removal occurs in the Bio-scrubber stage.
